Make this the Christmas to set up traditions and cut out Christmas waste! Using upcycled and repurposed festive fabrics, design and construct your own set of Christmas stockings to keep for years to come, or gift as presents.
All materials supplied, but participants are welcome to bring any bits and bobs from home that they'd like to include in their stockings – perhaps an old jersey or shirt of someone’s. No sewing experience required. Kids are welcome, but need to be booked in along with parent.
Orna Amir is a well-regarded and popular garment designer under her clothing brand Vamped – Handstyled Garments. You can visit her shop and workspace at the Brooke Street Studios, part of The Incubator Creative Hub situated inside the Historic Village.
