COLOUR: Hootz 'Stay Away' Release Party

Our weekly Thursday night show kicks off again this May with a fantastic lineup of live original music and DJs throughout the night.

We are lucky enough to have Local Legends The Hootz headline the Live Bands section of the evening with the launch of their new single 'Stay Away'.

They are supported by new kids on the block Second Hand Goods, a five piece band self styled as the garden city's most 'fiscally responsible choice in auditory & Visual entertainment'. And opening up the evening we have the fantastic Alice Tozer. An Ōtautahi based singer-songwriter and producer known for their fun, cruisy attitude which is very much reflected in the music they make. Combining lofi beats with jazz influenced chords, Alice creates a contemporary pop sound that is sure to get your butt wiggling!

From 11pm UC's SIMBA DJs take over with a mixture of house, garage, techno and breaks taking us into the early hours.
And of course, free pool and free hotdogs all night.
