Join the cosplay phenomenon!

It's time to create your own cosplay fantasy (costume and play). Portray a character's look from a video game, film or book, with a combination of costume, accessories, wigs and props.

Indulge your creative streak by joining Otago Museum’s Ashley and Steve as they guide you through a step-by-step process of making a pair of totally rad cosplay arm bracers...think superhero genre, or even medieval! Create your own style out of the EVA adhesive foam and add it to any costume, you’ll even be able to bedazzle, embellish and style your bracers with jewels if you desire.

This is an easy and very effective introduction to foam craft/Steampunk where your imagination can go wild!

All materials are provided, just bring along your imagination!

Suitable for ages 10 and over, but children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult*.

*An adult can supervise their child for free, but will need to buy a ticket if they also want to make a pair of arm bracers.

1pm – 4pm, Saturday 2 July
Atrium Level 1
$20 – For two arm bracers!
