These new classes are taught by Rogelio (Roy) Carles Rosas, who now lives on The Coast and who has been associated with Salsa in Wellington ever since it started.. in fact, he started it back in the 90s... and has been associated with Cuban Fusion ever since we returned to New Zealand from Cuba and established ourselves in Wellington in 2005.
Rogelio is presently teaching two levels as follows:
- 6:30-7:30pm Beginners
- 7:30-8:30pm Improvers
No previous experience (for the Beginners' class) or partner required.

Repetition is encouraged. Upon payment for the term and moving to the Level 2 (Improvers), you are welcome to continue attending Level 1 (Beginners) classes free of charge.
Once we've added a 3rd Level (Intermediate) you are welcome to attend the entire night once payment for the term received.
Cost per 4-week term:
- one person $60/$40*
- two people (or two terms) $100/$80*
*Concession prices for Student, Gold, Leisure and Community Services Cardholders
Location: The Scots Hall, Weka Park, Weka Rd, Raumati Beach, Paraparaumu.
While scanning in and vaccine passes are no longer required "good hygiene practices" are:
- washing or sanitizing your hands before and after class
- bringing your own drink bottle
- not coming to class if you feel unwell or should be isolating
