Curators’ Tour | Joanna Margaret Paul: Imagined in the Context of a Room

Celebrate the opening day of this major retrospective of the work of Joanna Margaret Paul (1945 –2003) at City Gallery Wellington with a very special guided tour.

Curators Lucy Hammonds (Dunedin Public Art Gallery) and Greg Donson (Sarjeant Gallery Te Whare o Rehua Whanganui) will be joined by one of Joanna’s sisters, Mary Paul. Beginning with personal thoughts and reflections from Mary, the curators will then lead a tour in conversation looking at Joanna’s life and legacy through her multi-disciplinary practice spanning painting, drawing, photography, film, and poetry.
