From the creators of Cabaret and Chicago, Curtains is the hilarious Tony Award-winning comedy musical that will have you guessing ’til the very end. A Musical Whodunnit, a show, within a show, that's within a show, with loads of clichés that proves it can be murder putting on a new musical– literally

It’s the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959. Boston’s Colonial Theatre is host to the opening night performance of a new musical Robbin Hood. The egregiously untalented leading lady, Jessica Cranshaw is a triple threat: she can't sing, act, or dance (or remember when to say her lines) and just as the curtain falls, so does she. “The Woman’s Dead” and everyone is a suspect!

Who could it be?
Carmen Bernstein, the sassy and brassy producer
Christopher Belling, the campy and egotistical director
Georgia Hendricks, the lyricist who is thrust into the leading role
Niki Harris, the ingenue with a secret

Enter Lieutenant Frank Cioffi, a fast-talking cop with a love for musical theatre. He quarantines the cast and crew inside the theatre while he searches for clues. But Cioffi doesn’t just investigate the murder--he also offers advice and insight into improving the musical which must open again in 24 hours with a new leading lady, so the clock is ticking to find the killer and put on a killer show.

The company use its spare time to attempt to fix the show's problems, secrets are surfacing, love blossoms, the production numbers are rewritten, rehearsed, and rewritten again, and the body count is rising.

Only Cioffi can make sense of the evidence, but "Curtains" will go on thanks to him. Saving the show, and the show-people is his mission

From the Team that brought you “Avenue Q” and “MTI All Together Now” this is a show that is not afraid to make fun of itself, a tongue-in-cheek send-up of theatre and those who work in it, a musical that is pure delight and laughter and it will have you guessing right to the final curtain

Now that you have been given a short synopsis – are you intrigued?

Then book a table, order a delicious Antipasto Platter a Bottle of Wine and let the show begin!
