New Zealand’s premiere song ensemble, accompanied by Dunedin’s own Tom McGrath, reform for the first time since the pandemic hit. This programme, The Light in the Dark, is a nod to the bleak times musicians have experienced worldwide during the last two years, and an acknowledgement of our emerging from a state of idleness and uncertainty. Centred around a theme of night-time, and transitioning through celebration, wonderment and grief, this programme - featuring Mahler, Brahms, Poulenc, Quilter and Lauridsen - will allow you a brief moment of introspection and reflection.
