In partnership with Christchurch City Council, as part of the Rotary Forests of Peace and Remembrance, in the Dallington Landing site, CVNZ volunteers are helping to create a forest in Christchurch's red zone. We'll be planting around 40,000 different trees, shrubs and grasses to increase biodiversity and recreate a forest-type environment.

The planting will take place from 10am-2pm.

To access the site, turn off River Rd into Dallington Terrace. Parking is through the gate alongside the river. Bike parking is even closer! Look out for the CVNZ flag.

We'll provide tools and team leaders. You'll need to bring gardening gloves, a water bottle and wear sturdy footwear.

Please register on our website.
Email Donna (christchurch@cvnz.org.nz - 021 4 57 568) for more information.

COVID-19:
