Diabetes Awareness

November is Diabetes Awareness Month in New Zealand, and this year World Diabetes Day is 14th November.
However, if you have diabetes, every day is diabetes day and it can be HARD work!
Jacqui is a Registered Nurse for Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua (MHT) Diabetes Trust. MHT Diabetes Trust is contracted by Te Whatu Ora- Health New Zealand to provide FREE diabetes and pre-diabetes education to people with diabetes or pre-diabetes and their whānau.
We aim to help you gain a better understanding of your diabetes/pre-diabetes or that of your whānau – so that you can live your best life with diabetes.
