East Pier Summer Series Triathlon and Duathlon

Well, when you think about summer you must be thinking Triathlon! And the East Pier Triathlon & Duathlon series is what it is all about!

There are five events between November 2021 and March 2022 and at each event there are multiple different races with different distance and options that should suit everyone, from the absolute beginner to the seasoned athlete.

Our events cater for participants from the age of 7 to 99 and walkers are welcome and encouraged to enter.

The full Triathlon events are recommended for anyone aged 14 years and over, but we have other events such as an Aquathlon to suit all ages. You can do the event as an individual or if that seems a bit much, get a friend and do it as a team. You could even get two friends and really have a fun and relaxed day out there.

On Sunday 30 January and Sunday 20 February, we also include a longer "Standard Distance" option for those that really like to test themselves. Club Points are available to members that choose the Standard Distance.

This event is vaccine mandated and you will be required to show your vaccine pass to be verified before you get to the registration desk. This event will be run under the Ministry of Health Covid Protection Framework Orange light rules and we will have a designated event area. NO spectators at registration, transition or finish line. Masked spectators are welcome outside the designated event area and must be socially distanced.

For now, we have also cancelled the kids aquathlon.

If Covid regulations change or if HB goes into the Red Traffic light the event may be limited to the first 100 that registered, so we suggest you get in quick!
