Open and inclusive space to all the technicoloured humans of this world. This is the space of AHURUTANGA, our Mana Enhancing Dance floor. A space in this time where we find connection to self, to source and to other.

Interconnected in this existence and experience of life. Permission to be our full expression of our humanness, wild and tender. The kaupapa of Ecstatic Dance was to create a space where people could come together in a sober environment supported by a soundscape and guided in and out by a facilitator.

This may be the first conscious dance floor space you have entered.
Free from intoxicants.
Free from the pressure to hook up.
Free from the need to 'look pretty' or to perform for others.
Know that you are welcome just as you are.
We leave our phones, our shoes, and our judgments at the door!

What to expect.
Opening Circle.
Wānanga with yourself and space to move.
Movement as mihi.
Sculpted soundscape, created and inspired by who walks through the door.
Time to rest in your rhythm.
Grounded spirituality.
And a landing pad at the end, to find deep rest and a settled soul.
Mauri Tau.
Bathed in the bass, expanded by taonga pūoro, and guided by me Kaiakindness.

About me.
I am an Open Floor International teacher and the founder of Ecstatic Dance in Kapiti Est. 2017.
I teach weekly classes throughout our Poneke, Kapiti Coast, and online.

My dance floors are permission-giving spaces that help you sort through the grit and the grime,
the shit and the shame to find that home again in your body.

For us all to live from our own Mana Motuhake is my koha for this time.

WHIRIA TE TANGATA

Reweaving the fabric of our societies one sweaty dance floor at a time.

Simple as fam come dance x
