Eden Arts Art Schools Award

The Eden Arts Award brings together the Central Auckland art schools in a single exhibition under one roof. Now in its twelfth year, it is generously hosted once again this year by Webb's Auction House in Mt Eden. Five current undergraduates are nominated by each school - AUT, Elam, AUT and Whitecliffe - and invited to submit work which is then judged (anonymously) by an independent judging panel appointed by the Eden Arts Trust. Around $9000 in prize money is on offer to selected students.
The award exhibition promises an exciting and true glimpse into the art practices of tomorrow's artists. Open for viewing - everyone welcome!
