Elemental Nights, a captivating mid-winter concert series, exclusive to Auckland, returns this July featuring a high-hitting international and local line-up of renowned and cutting edge artists taking to the stage at Auckland’s iconic venues.

Jessica Smyth, aka BIIG PIIG has lived a nomadic life – born in Ireland she spent her formative years in Spain, she now calls West London home. In recent years Smyth has risen through London’s art scene, garnering a loyal following for her smoky, sedative take on hip-hop and neo-soul which moves fluidly between singing and rapping in English and Spanish. Pitchfork said of 2021’s EP release ‘The Sky Is Bleeding’ – “The latest EP from the Irish singer is a set of introspective, velvet-crushed balladry, as much a cohesive mood piece as a collection of individual songs.” Biig Piig is definitely an artist to have on your radar.
