Cornwall Park

This summer our photography exhibition shows a unique view of Cornwall Park from a bird's perspective!

Local photographer Estefania Lopez spent time in the park during the Autumn months (plus a sneaky Spring shot for the cherry blossoms) of 2021, capturing unique photographs of the park from above. The images capture seasonal changes in our trees and plants, livestock movement and the shapes and patterns of the land - both natural and man-made.

Saturday 3rd December - Sunday 26th February 2023
Open daily 10 am - 4 pm (closed 25th & 26th December 2022 and 1st & 2nd January 2023)
Location: Huia Lodge Discovery Hub can be found next to the Cornwall Park Bistro in the middle of the park. Vehicle access from Greenlane West park gates.

Estefania López is an experienced visual artist, focusing on drone and digital photography. Her approach to spaces, whether architecture or landscapes, focuses on the beauty within the ordinary.

As a Colombian and keen traveller, Estefania grew up surrounded by bright colours and the beats of South America. That rhythm and inquisitiveness shine through her work - a mix of playful, complex and surprising.

Estefania has spent the year in Cornwall Park, capturing the flora as it transforms through the seasons. Throughout this exhibition you'll experience the park from unexpected angles and points of view. See the warm Summer greens change to Autumnal oranges, to moody Winter hues and finally brighten up again with fresh Spring growth.
