F.A.W.C! For the Love of Honey

Arataki Honey is opening its doors so you can follow the honey story from the hive to table.

With weather permitting, discover the inner workings of a beehive, as we lift the lid and show you the life of the honeybee up close and personal. Discover day to day life of an Arataki beekeeper and how and when honey is harvested.

Venture into the packing room to learn how honey is extracted and then packed, ready to go on the shelves in your local store. Finish with a tasting of a selection of honey and time spent exploring the Arataki Honey Visitor Centre. Depart with your own pot of Arataki Honey, a discount voucher and recipe cards to enjoy cooking with honey at home.

Ticket price includes a tour of the Arataki Honey facility, a pot of Arataki honey, some recipes to try at home and a discount voucher to use in the Visitor Centre shop.

F.A.W.C! is a series of exceptional food and wine experiences set in stunning locations in Hawke’s Bay. Running twice a year, F.A.W.C! is a chance to get up close and personal with chefs and food producers, wine makers and the clever people that make up the New Zealand food and wine scene. F.A.W.C!
