Artist Statement
'I love peoples faces and specialise in portraiture. I feel blessed to live in New Zealand where the beauty of nature is so much a part of our lives and I also see beauty in people's faces. I try and capture a quality of the personality, or God given inner beauty of the subject.
My own style has evolved from the techniques of the old masters and in the last five years I traveled to Italy to study portraiture over four summers with the Florence Angel Academy of Fine Art.'
