On Saturday December 10th, fledglings takes its first flight as a fully-fledged band under the lights of Moon. fledglings is the solo project of Pōneke musician Clarrie Macklin. Rooted in folk, alternative rock, and soul, fledglings makes music of playful melancholy, storytelling, and unexpected harmony.
Featuring the dark delights of Pōneke’s alt-rock trio, Harris, and introducing the shameless indie girl-rock of Bad Luck Girls, we are set for a gig of harsh realities and entrancing mysteries, with guitar amps cranked and the fine nectars of Moon bar’s taps a-flowing.
