Gee Wizz: An Exhibition of (some) Waiclay 2022 Unselected

An inaugural exhibition of some of the ceramic works submitted to the Waiclay 2022 Exhibition that were not selected by this year’s Judge Prue Venables.

This exhibition is a celebration of those brave enough to offer their work up to the selection process, knowing full well that a judge’s choice is purely subjective. It’s like playing Russian roulette – you know your work is good and has value and just because it didn’t resonate with this particular selector doesn’t mean it wouldn’t have been chosen by someone else. This work deserves to be seen and appreciated by our peers and the wider public, who are free to make up their own minds as to whether it resonates with them or not.
