Long associated with the festive season, gingerbread cookies are a must at Christmas.
Lead by guest tutor and cake designer from Dunedin’s Creative with Jess, you’ll be guided through the process of layering buttercream, rolling and applying fondant icing, and stamping Christmas designs for an embossed look. Top this off with edible gold paint and add sprinkles for the finishing touches!
Each participant will get creative decorating four cookies and then package them up in a display box with shredded paper.
With Santa popping up from the chimney, a reindeer, Christmas tree, holly, snowman or miniature gingerbread house – it’s time to get decorating, bringing the cookies to life in your own unique way.
These tasty workshops run for one hour with all materials provided and are suitable for all cookie lovers young and young at heart.
