Harbour Sail on the R. Tucker Thompson

Ever wondered what it would be like to sail a tall ship? Now is your chance because the R. Tucker Thompson is coming to the people of Whangārei. Join us aboard Northland's iconic tall ship for a 2-hour sail through the Whangārei Harbour.

Get involved and help us hoist the sails, then once we are underway, sit back and relax while enjoying views of Whangārei from the water. If you’re adventurous, there’s time for you to grab a harness and climb up the rigging or head out onto the bowsprit. Suitable for all ages.

This sailing is a fundraiser and the proceeds will go towards funding a place for a young person from the region on a winter youth development voyage.
