Wellington's original and only Hip Hop + Chess night continues at Cuba street's hidden treasure - R Bar.
Music - Come and chill to a live DJ set from Pi playing the very best in conscious, groove and old school Hip Hop. The music starts at 7pm.
Every week has a good handful of tunes by the week's Featured Artist, with an optional vinyl raffle to match.
Chess - Chess sets are provided free of charge if you'd like to play and all levels are catered for. Long games, timed games, absolute beginners or pros. Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere with delicious drinks available.
Lots of people come by themselves and meet people there, just let the friendly bar staff know you're looking for a game
