In this one-day workshop, you will learn the skills to apply dynamic linework to paper like a pro. Here you will build the confidence, flexibility and style that comes with this ever popular medium. Having pen skills is a must across all illustration fields; from budding cartoonists, graphic novelists, animators to tattoo artists, with techniques transferable across digital media. Kiran has a knack for getting you into that energetic creative zone and coming up with fantastic results fast. You’ll lose that hesitation and flex that pen with a natural rhythm.
This one day workshop is suitable for beginners, those wanting a challenge, and anyone who wants to feel awesome after completing a drawing.
Tutor: KIRAN-X
Kiran Gandhi aka KIRAN-X has been teaching a range of creative skills over the last 20 years in diverse learning environments. He exhibits and publishes his work on a regular basis and is incredibly passionate about urban themes, lowbrow arts, graphic novels and popular culture.

Free-flowing exercises and composition
Diffusion and washes
Editing and adapting to mistakes
Start that drawing (with one-to-one support)

Fineliner pens 0.1, 0.3, 0.5. Mechanical Pencil. A3 pad of paper.
Optional: Felts and illustration pens and markers. Any brand of the above
Bring a packed lunch.
