IMPROVE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
with Birgit Saunders

‘If everyone were to practice cherishing others, many of the major problems of the world would be solved in a few years.’ Geshe Kelsang Gyatso - Eight Steps to Happiness.

Even in ordinary times our quality of life depends a great deal on the kind of interactions we have with others.

We rely so much on other people for so many things- for work, goods and services, and for love and
support, to name a few.

In fact everything we have, including our life itself, has come from others.

At the same time we can find that even our closest relationships can sometimes be challenging and this can seriously affect our peace of mind.

We all wish for good relationships in our lives, but relationships between couples, parents and children, or friends often suffer from misunderstandings, unrealistic expectations and conflict. We love each other, and yet we are not always happy together.

On this course, we will explore practical methods for improving and transforming our relationships with our family, friends, colleagues and others.

Through practising the meditations taught in these classes, we can learn to let go of painful minds towards others and replace them with minds of loving kindness and patience that bring real joy and inner peace.

With practice, we can develop new patterns that will help us improve all our relationships, be it with
friends, family, colleagues or strangers.
