Are you a passionate conservation volunteer organisation working in Christchurch or Banks Peninsula? Are you caring for our parks but want to keep your people safe too? Then this half-day workshop is for you.
The In Safe Hands Toolkit has been developed by Conservation Volunteers who work in practical conservation in Australia and New Zealand. The workshop will be delivered by CVNZ National Campaigns Manager Dave Sharp. Places are limited.

The Toolkit is a safety management system for community groups involved in environmental activities, developed and delivered by Conservation Volunteers New Zealand.
The “In Safe Hands Toolkit” manual and workshop covers:
• Legislation overview
• Safety policy and procedures
• OHS guidance notes
• Safety prompts
• Volunteer induction, and
• Document templates.

This workshop is sponsored by Christchurch City Council and will be held in Auaha Hihi Spark Place, on the ground floor of Turanga. Note: vaccine passports required for entry.
