October’s edition of the Otago Settlers Association’s Tuesday Club welcomes Jim Sullivan, a retired broadcaster, who spent over 50 years broadcasting in Dunedin and further afield.
New Zealand’s oldest radio station is turning 100, and it is still broadcasting in Dunedin!
Jim Sullivan, most recently heard on the airwaves as presenter of ‘Sounds Historical’ on Radio New Zealand National, has recently completed a centennial history of 4XD/Radio Dunedin. He will talk about Radio Dunedin’s story and the role Dunedin has played in New Zealand’s broadcasting history.
Join Jim for this event as part of the Otago Radio Association’s (ORA) 100-year anniversary. This event begins with refreshments and an opportunity to chat with Otago Settlers Association members.
