Knife-Making Weekend

Knife-Making Weekend is back by popular demand!

Over the weekend you will be crafting your own Chef’s knife from start to finish!

You will start with learning some essential forging and grinding techniques, and then move onto the handle-making.

If you have some wood at home you would like to make your handle from please bring it along. Hardwoods are best, and the wood must be dry - at least a year old. We also have a selection of coloured resins, wood, brass and copper in the workshop you can choose from.

Finally, you will learn assembly, edging, as well as blade care and maintenance. By the end of the weekend, you will have a brand new hand-crafted knife of your own!

This workshop is limited to 6 students.

Safety is paramount in our workshop and we ask that you follow all instructions from your tutor at all times.
