Launch Event: 'landing In Whangārei' Storytelling Tour

'Landing in Whangārei' is a multicultural storytelling project celebrating the personal stories of individuals and groups who have been on a journey to call Whangārei home. Take a digital tour of Whangārei through the diverse lens of your neighbours.

"Story Sites" are spread through significant locations in CBD and accessible through your smart phones, tablets, and other personal devices, as well as online. Tour guide leaflets will be available at many public venues, and digitally online.

Join us for the opening on Friday 11 November with an event encouraging people to walk the tour together and meet the story tellers. The tour will be open for the weeks following the opening event.

This project is a collaboration with Multicultural Whangārei, Zir Productions, Renee Liang, and Kaumātua Fred Tito with support from the Whangārei District Council Creative Community Scheme.
