Let's Go Fly a Kite - Kite Day

Professional kite flyers from across NZ are descending on Timaru.

The skies above Caroline Bay will come alive with soaring kites. And, you can also join in the fun.

The kites will be flying within the fenced-off festival area at Caroline Bay, no public access within the fenced area.

However, the kites will be visible from lots of great vantage points. You could have a day at the beach and enjoy the spectacle, or, why not go out for lunch on the Bay Hill and watch from there.
