Libraries Tararua - Cut It Up Poetry

Have you heard of cut out poetry? In a nutshell, it’s when you use words you’ve cut out from old magazines or newspapers, and use them to create poetry. "It is a process of extraction and reconstruction of a new meaning of language, based on chaotic intuition and the free creative flow.”

In honour of National Poetry Day, all our libraries are providing everything you need to create your own Cut Out Poem.

Supplies will be available from 11am til late afternoon.
