Light Up The Plaza 2022

Bring the kids along to celebrate the arrival of the festive season, and see the plaza and giant Christmas tree being lit up. Enjoy kids’ entertainers, live music, festive spot prizes and face painting from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. The big fella will make an early Christmas appearance at 6.30pm.

Arts and crafts market stalls will line the boardwalk on Beach Front Lane between 4pm and 8pm. We suggest bringing some cash as there will be a great array of artisan products by local suppliers - ideal for Christmas gifts.

Be there for the draw at 7.30pm because someone’s lucky finger will win the right to switch the switch to light up the plaza and giant tree. The big kids can grab a bean bag, have a boogie, and enjoy the live band.

This is a free community event paid for by our fabulous Browns Bay businesses, and Hibiscus and Bays Local Board. So please support Browns Bay shops and eateries, and show your appreciation by dining, shopping and visiting them while you're in town. The fabulous Stoned Cow Cafe in Phoenix Plaza will also be running a festive light and art exhibition called ‘Connections’ to celebrate being able to reconnect with each other this Christmas. Lots of action in the plaza on 18 November! Hope to see you there.
