Make a Silver Ring - Jewellery Workshop

In this Lost Wax Jewellery workshop, you will design and create a unique ring, pendant, or other piece of jewellery using the Lost Wax method. In the first session, using jewellers wax, you will file, drill, sand and model a unique piece of jewellery under the watchful eye and guidance of tutor Maca. It’s a lot of creative fun from start to finish and perfectly suitable for an absolute beginner! Once you’ve crafted your piece of jewellery in wax, it will be cast in either white bronze or silver – whichever you choose. When you return for the second session your casting will be back and you begin part two of the process: finishing and cleaning, which will result in your beautiful ‘one-off’ piece of jewellery ready to wear. We provide all materials and tools, and organise the casting for you at your own cost. Casting prices will vary depending on size, weight, and metal of choice. As a guide, a 3.5g wax ring can cost $15 in silver and $8 in white bronze approximately.
