Kiwi songstress Loveta is an old soul with a new flavour - here to bring you an energy reminiscent of past-meets-present.
Loveta - A.K.A Lauren Marshall was born and raised in Hawke’s Bay, and is now based in Ōtautahi, New Zealand. Taking influence from the 60’s, 70’s, and today, Loveta takes inspiration from top-tier artists such as YEBBA, Amber Mark, Kim Petras, and Dua Lipa - and combines commanding stage presence and impressive vocal chops to match the greats. Loveta skilfully mixes disco and funk with modern electro-pop, R&B, and dance elements to deliver a fresh and exciting take on classic sounds - enticing you to the dance floor, as well as touching the heart.
Following on from the success of her recent releases 'More Than Fun' and 'Drive', Loveta invites you to join her in an intimate celebration in the unveiling of her debut EP - including fresh tracks never heard before.
Loveta is delighted to be sharing the evening with talented fellow local artists, Wulfie and Phoebe Vic.
