Lunar Eclipse - View through a telescope

Here's a wonderful opportunity to see something exciting - a partial lunar eclipse as the moon rises out of the sea! Join local astronomers next Monday 16th at the top of Timaru's piazza from 5:15 onwards to get a glimpse of this amazing sight through some hi-tech telescopic equipment.

Of course, we're hoping for clear skies, if it's cloudy, it's a no-show. Also, we encourage mask-wearing even though it's in the open - people will be getting close to telescopes. Stay safe out there!
