Macramé – that 1970’s classic craft is back! Come along to this “make-and-take” course where you will make a macramé pot plant hanger to display those overpriced indoor plants you keep buying online.

Macramé is the fun and relaxing skill of using cord and knots to make attractive indoor decorations that add texture and warmth to your living spaces and home. In this one-day workshop, you will be provided with pre-cut cord to make your own macramé pot plant hanger. Issy will guide you throughout the day and you will learn the skills of macramé as well as making your own pot plant hanger to take home with you.

Materials are included in the course fee.

Note: Some people with previous crafting type experience, may finish the course earlier than the allotted time. The time allotted has been designed to allow for a lunch break and for even those new to crafting, to complete their hanger, or get close to doing so. The colour choice of cord will be limited on the day, but you will discover where to get more and various colours for making more hangers.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

- Construct basic knots
- Prepare cord for your project
- Recognize other materials required for your project

Note: Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel. We'll let you know by email so please check yours regularly. If you need to cancel your registration, here are our terms and conditions: "What You Need to Know".

Presented by Issy Freeman.
