Join Yoko Micromacrame Art in the studio for a very special Mala Bead Making workshop, and learn how to create your own unique Mala to take home with you.
We will be creating a 27 Mala Bead with your choice of crystal beads and natural wooden beads (all materials supplied by Yoko).

What Are Mala Beads?
Mala is a string of beads used to support your practice of meditation.
Long Mala has 108 beads and short Mala has 27 (a derivative of 108); these are sacred numbers in Yoga.
What's Included?
Yoko will provide all materials and expertise for you to create a personalised 27 bead Mala:
- Crystal beads
- Natural wooden beads
- Threads to create Mala and tassel
She will also share Japanese green tea in a short ceremony either at the beginning, or at the end of the workshop. Matcha (Green tea) has a lots of benefits for the body and mind.
