Masterton Miniature Train 50th Anniversary

Celebrating 50 years of operation on the island on the 28th August. There will be free rides from 11.00am till 4.00pm. Food stalls will be operating and you can enjoy lunch on the island.

The running of the railway is done by volunteers with drivers and ticket sellers Masterton businesses also play a large part in the success of the railway donating services or goods over many years either free or at reduced prices to help keep operating costs low.

The railway give approx. 28000 rides a year.
