Matariki Morning Stargaze

EDIT: Unfortunately we've had to cancel Victoria's events this weekend as she is unable to make the journey due to family emergency. Our thoughts are with her and we will announce when we are able to reschedule.

Join us to celebrate Matariki and enjoy the dark skies of Fiordland with an early morning stargazing session followed by a social light breakfast.

Māori astronomer Victoria Campbell, Ngāti Irakehu, Ngāi Tahu will lead a stargazing session and kōrero focused on viewing the Matariki star cluster in the sky before dawn. We will then share breakfast kai and a hot drink together.

Families welcome. Note, a short walk will be required to reach the stargazing location and the last section may be over uneven ground.
