Fancy a regular crafternoon with company and plants? Nau mai ki te Monday Makers at understorey.
On Monday afternoons, 1pm- 4:30pm, you’re welcome to bring your craft/art projects down to understorey at The Welder, 20-26 Welles St.

Each session will have an optional facilitated connection kōrero at the start so you can meet other makers. The space has both desk and couch seating options. As this is a shared co-working space, we welcome small-medium scale dry media projects; drawing, collage, crochet, knitting, needlework, sculpey, design, jewellery making, stencil cutting… we could go on?

If you’re using glue please use a low odour variety. If you’re not sure if your project is right for the space, please ask!

This is a BYO supplies session - while we have a photocopier, guillotine, and a glue stick or two, we don’t have other craft supplies. Our intention is to provide space for connection. Complimentary tea and coffee provided. Before 2:30pm, there is excellent coffee at other vendors in The Welder.
understorey is run by The Green Lab - we are a non-profit organisation. We invite you to koha for our facilitators time and your use of the space if you can.
