Get ready Tāmaki Makaurau, for our last party of the year we’re returning to our spiritual home, Whammy Bar!
Taking us back to our roots, Whammy Bar is where Morning People first took hold - capturing the imaginations and dancey feelings of the unsuspecting public. It’s been a long time between Club Mates, and we’re fizzing to return.
The two-hour end of year special will be spread across two rooms and feature the sonic stylings of Wattsson in the main room and Sharkra playing the Whammy backroom.
Splitting her time between Ibiza and Aotearoa, Wattsson is known for bringing the party. She’s got a busy summer ahead with bookings on boats, on tropical islands, in mountains, and at parties across the country including dates at Shipwrecked, Splore and Rhythm and Alps.
Known for bending the genre space-time-continuum, globetrotting Sharkra’s sets have seen her play around the country and the world, including playing parties in Chile, Argentina, Vietnam, Thailand and Australia, and at local festivals AUM, Dimension and Shipwrecked.
