Summit Marlborough Heritage Festival: Mural Maker Oriwa Haddon - His Life and Work.

Starting at 2 p.m. at Canvastown Hall followed by afternoon tea at Havelock Hall, on the corner Main Road and Inglis Street.

Join Marlborough Museum Executive Director Steve Austin to learn more about the extraordinary unsung hero of New Zealand Folk Art. Canvastown Hall has an extraordinary display of his work and notable examples at Havelock Hall are extremely interesting as well. A selection of paintings by Oriwa Haddon from the Marlborough Museum collection will also be on display. A unique opportunity to view these community treasures and hear about their story.

Afternoon Tea $5 cash on the day. All proceeds go to Havelock Museum.
