Luke Waddington describes himself as "Having minimal education at Otumoetai College, then after that the University of Life".
Luke has been a Tauranga resident for many years, with the usual trips and time spent living overseas - that his generation were blissfully unaware of was such a privilege!
A founder of Tauranga's Iconic Art, Parallel Bar, Luke has helped facilitate many exhibitions for other artists over the years, Mills Reef Winery & The Parallel Bar and over the last few years has focused on his own art.
The bulk of Luke's work is mixed media, watercolour, and ink on canvas.
Some of his pieces also incorporate a three-dimensional aspect of found objects relative to the theme.
The title of this exhibition reflects the political and societal changes radically affecting our lives today and an attempt to make some record of them rather than present a judgement.
Opening preview Friday 19th, 5:30-7:30pm in the Incubator lounge. Everyone welcome.
On display in The Incubator Gallery from Saturday 20th August - 11th September.
