New Years Eve Picton

New Zealand sees the dawn of a New Year before anybody else in the world, as a nation we’re quite literally getting the party started! Pure Events Marlborough are delighted to be bringing back Marlborough's New Years Eve Celebration to the Picton Foreshore on Sat 31st December.

We all know Marlborough is brilliant every day, but come New Year’s Eve it’s also going to ignite at night with a huge party for the community and visitors to our region! Everybody’s name is on the guest list!

On the main stage we have awesome bands Blind Rust to get the party started, followed by Eclectic Fix and our Headline Act DangerBaby arguably Christchurch's best covers band, will be playing all the hits you know and love! Bringing you an amazing visual and audio experience plus a solid repertoire to boot.

Along with fire shows, kids playgound area and of course all culminating with a fantastic Fireworks show over the water at midnight, by Fireworks Marlborough.
You won’t go hungry either, whether you choose to sample some of the delicious food from the extensive variety of food trucks or show your support at one of Picton’s fabulous bars, cafés or restaurants, we will be bringing in the New Year in style!

There will be no buses this year. Unfortunately, due to staff shortages and an insufficient supply of buses, we are unable to supply transport to Picton for this year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations. Please ensure you allow extra time for parking and travel.
