The event is over two days of ploughing, first day is stubble ploughing, which is the stubble left after a cereal crop has been harvested, the second day is grass ploughing, On both days the competitors plough a plot 20m wide x 100m long. The plots are judged by a team of judges whom also come from around the country, and the competitor with the most points over the two days wins their class.
