Have you entered awards before and want more in-depth comments on how an image could have scored higher?
Curious about what judges are looking for and how they score images at national and international competition level?
Join us as we follow the Iris Awards critique process; where a panel of experts will review each image (anonymously), place a score and give feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of every photograph submitted. Watch and learn as they chat about why they would give an image 'X' score and what it takes to reach Bronze, Silver and the prestigious Gold award level.
If you want to have your image reviewed and critiqued please bring along a print on the night or email your images for submission by clicking here (images must be sent prior to 9am on May 24th to be included). Cost is $5 per image, with a limited number of 3 images per person please, fees can be paid directly to NZIPP Auckland 02-0256-0262039-001 or via cash on the night.
As with all our events we will be streaming this live via Zoom so those at home can play along, attendance is complimentary for all who want to join us in person (and on Zoom). By coming along in person, you get to see everyone else's work up close, ask questions off camera, network and socialise, so come along we'd love to see you!
