"Odyssey" a solo art exhibition by Troy Warring upstairs at The Gallery Havelock. EXHIBITION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 7 September 2022. Troy Warring, an emerging Marlborough Sounds artist, exhibits his abstract landscapes and sleeper sculptures. “My artwork is what I would call 'evolving abstract'. I have only ever used oils and currently work on board as I found that my technique was too rough for canvas. I love the challenge of working with oil paint. It is so unforgiving yet so rewarding. More often than not my paintings have a habit of changing on me so I never quite know what I'm going to get. Each one is truly unique."
