Off the Page is a performative anthology production composed of extracts from the New Zealand literary canon and devised for the 2022 Featherston Booktown Festival.
Over the course of 40 minutes, the diverse and colourful worlds of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most cherished authors, including Witi Ihimaera, Patricia Grace and Elizabeth Knox, will be brought off their pages and into life. Weaving together a range of writing genre, style and tone, these snippets will blend to proudly exhibit the full wonder of New Zealand literature.
