Experience the majesty of a guided walk into a 1,000-year-old forest. You will feel as though you have stepped back in time walking past the enormous native rātā and rimu trees. Listen to the sounds of the forest and the music of the tui. Feel the sunlight playing through the leaves while you smell the scent of the trees and the clean fresh air. Meanwhile, our ranger will share stories about the natural heritage of the park. Don't forget to bring your lunch and some snacks.

This walk is restricted to 15 people so get in quick for this exclusive walk led by our knowledgeable park ranger. This walk will require a moderate fitness level. Please note that this walk is NOT suitable for children under 14 years of age. Don’t forget to bring your lunch.
