One Day a Taniwha

These holidays, bring the kids down for a taniwha themed morning!

Kids can make their own taniwha etching from a big 10c piece with Rebecca Larsen. They’ll also be able to hopscotch and colour taniwha on our main street in front of the Incubator.

Following their taniwha tutu, kids can lounge around with their parents or caregiver and listen to Rebecca read from her own book ‘Hoe, Hoe, Hoea te Waka – Row, Row, Row your Waka’.

Rebecca is local author and artist, who frequently visits schools and day cares to share her work, waiata and creative sessions with the community.
