Learn to dance from the ground up! Beginners very welcome. My strategy is to teach technique and body alignment before attempting choreography, because the moves work differently for each individual. Rhythm first, then the knees and hips, then upper body and arms. Finally, we start to travel and add accent moves. It’s like a layer cake, the foundation comes before the icing!
Each class includes “free dance” to help us loosen up and have fun, and the last 30 minutes focuses on a combo that builds towards a whole choreography by the end of the term. Performances optional, absolutely no pressure - join our body positive, diverse and supportive community!
