In celebration of International Space Week we are introducing a brand new science show!

The Universe contains trillions of stars and planets, full of endless possibilities. So why does it seem to be devoid of other beings? Could we really be the only place in the Universe with life?

In this free science show, we explore what makes Earth an ideal planet and find out if its ability to host life is truly unique, or whether there could be other worlds bustling with undiscovered creatures.

Join us in this space spectacle with explosive demonstrations and discoveries for the whole family.

Before or after the show, check out the amazing Tūhura Tuarangi – Aotearoa in Space science showcase. Build a satellite, create your own clean-green fuel, and even launch a rocket. Get up close with ion thrusters and a four-billion-year-old meteorite, or take a virtual reality tour into space to explore our solar system and beyond. This highly interactive showcase celebrates amazing space technologies and world-leading research going on right here in Aotearoa New Zealand.
